The art of Martin Wittfooth is both exhilarating in its beauty and heartbreaking in its vulnerability. It’s like looking into your own soul and seeing both the good and kind as well as the brutal and indifferent. We’d all like to think we care about the environment and the animals at our mercy who reside there but in truth we all still buy clothes that were made in Bangladesh (though you may not know it) and plastic crap that’s made in China. Humans were made to consume, and consume we do. That’s why Martin’s work is so grounding. It’s a strong reminder of the damage we are all doing to the world around us and the creatures that are often at the mercy of our never ending thirst for more, more, more!
A little bit naughty, a whole lotta sexy and definitely adorable, this is the art of Camilla Derrico. Comics, characters, oil on canvas, beautiful, fantastical and possibly not suitable for children. Love it!
Clint Reid is the creative brain and hands behind the “Tillman Project”, which is the moniker he uses when creating awesome things. Designer, illustrator, coffee drinker, beard grower and music lover he likes to make and do amazing things which you can see more of at www.tillmanproject.com
Now who wouldn’t want to see birds strutting around town with some cool new do’s? Ahh we can see it now. Crows with coiffures, Qualis with quiffs, Pelican’s with perms. Well you don’t have to wait for some crazy wormhole to suck you into an alternative Universe to see how they’d look. Postproduction masters Souverein Weesp in collaboration with Photographer, Rene Mesman, have envisioned this for you!
The devil is in the details as they say and judging from the work of Michael Kutsche he’s been a busy boy! Michael’s work takes us into a world the likes of which we have never seen and populates it with the amazing menagerie and cast of characters that fill his imagination. The images below are character designs he did for Disney’s Oz the Great and Powerful, and his other works are no less stunning, from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland to the Kenneth Branagh directed,Thor.
